   Arion Therapeutic Farm provides a tranquil and supportive location for special needs individuals and their families to enjoy learning and developing skills and experiencing success with their personal goals and challenges.

  The philosophy of the Farm is to create a safe and caring environment that supports the development of new skills, increased independence, explores new opportunities and creates new abilities through recreation. The emotional, social, developmental and physical benefits are limitless. Students have the opportunity to work on essential skills such as core body strength, increased concentration, communication, trust and independence. Social skills can be developed and friendships expanded through small group interactions. The staff of experienced professionals, Behavioral Interventionist and Registered Nurse can create an individualized program to assist in the development of any challenge.

  Our Therapeutic Farm activities include interaction with horses, Therapeutic Riding, interacting with small farm animals (Farm Discovery), Habitat Explorations, Nature Encounters, and opportunities for Groups and Birthday Celebrations.

  Our staff of professionals offers Individualized Tutoring, Youth Groups, Career Discovery Programs and Parent Education Evenings. Other groups and programs can be created, just tell us what you need.

WHERE IS THE FACILITY
 Nestled in a serene valley in South East Kelowna, our farm is only a 15 minute drive from the Orchard Park Mall and just around the corner from the South Kelowna Elementary School. The Handidart bus services our farm and the McCulloch #12 community bus stop is a 10 minute walk.
